Going through a silver drought this year. :( By this time last year i had twice the amount of silver.
Anyhow these are my best finds this season so far out of a couple dozen detecting sessions. Also found a couple dozen wheats but who cares about them! :dry:

Sorry for the over exposures...experimenting with my camera. :S
I think i should of photo'd the brighter silver coins separately from the darker Indian and Buffalo coins.
The Buffalo is a 1916 and the merc is a 1943. Also my first war nickel!

Interesting WWII era German coin or a cheap copy?. Anyone know what it is?


Also found this button in a park where a lot of military roamed during WWII. Don't know if its genuine military. Was about a half foot deep.

Those are some sweet finds! Love that solid green Indian. Is the war nickel a P mint? If so it could be a 43/2. Check it close. Here is a link to show you what it will look like if it is:

Naah, its a 1943-S. According to these sites, its worth maybe a dollar or so if that much.
