Went camping with Joe (Silverserfer) Sunday and Monday night and had a blast. I call it camping only because I was sleeping in a tent, what I call a cheap hotel for long trips. Except when a storm came in and ripped off the top of my tent with me in it while pouring rain it is not a bad way to do a metal detecting trip.

Of course as aways I have lots of pics. :cheer:

1st pic is a group pic of everything.

2nd pic is of all the ear rings and a ear gauge.

The 3rd pic of my hand with all the rings are: The top three rings are junk, the middle rings and pendent are silver and the bottom honker is my "Find of the year". All the diamonds test real and it is a heavey total weight of 10.1 grams of 14k white gold.

The 4th pic is of the silver ring, pendent and the gold ring, they all have diamonds the tested positive. The silver ring and pendent have markings that say .925 10k. I believe that is sterling plated with 10k gold. So MOM on the pendent and the heart on the ring are only plated.

5th and 6th pic are hall marks.

The ring with the 18 diamonds was the thrill of the 2 day trip. When Dennis came over to me I had a feeeling he had a good one. I was neck deep in the water. One look at the ring I told him to put it pouch. The beach was packed and there was alot of watchers. Keeper for sure. Had fun, although I did not find any gold.

Those are amazing finds! What a great spot! :woohoo: That diamond ring is worth big bucks just in the gold content. I believe I would take that one to a jewelry store for an appraisal and get it insured. They add that to your homeowners policy and it really doesn't cost that much. I'll bet it's a $1,500 ring at least.

Thanks Keith, and you have a good eye for jewerly!! I had it appraised and I was told $1500.00. My mom wants the stones to put into a new ring so she is getting those and the bands are going into the bank saftey box for future selling.

All i can say is WOW! :woohoo:

Must be great to pay for the detector in just one detecting session! ;)

My finds so far only paid for the eTRAC sales tax with maybe enough left over for a 6 pack!
