went out to try something new with the etrac. Did not have much time to hunt, but for an hour it was productive. All coins were mixed in iron. The wheaties are 1917, 1919, 1926, 1944. The half dime is 1945. :)

Ha!! I didn't catch. The date thing. I screwed that up. The hole is a bummer, but I will take them holed all day long. Playing with Two Tone Ferris on the Etrac. I think I am going to like it, once I get used to it.

I didn't realize the 46 was a high dollar coin. Just one year off! That spot might just hold one waiting for you to find it.

When you get comfortable with that two tone setup come down and you can rehunt the nail bed at the old racetrack.

Thanks Larry. It is nice pulling coins out of a place that has been beat to death. At least it is close and and a place to go when time is short. The half dime was a surprise though. I had never found one before and have now dug 3 this year and 2 of those have came in the last month.

That 1/2 dime is in unbelievable condition especially for being that old! Great Find!

That hole though, someone really butchered it up, if it were a larger dia. it'd sure look like a bullet hole.

Thanks. Yea, I has happy and a little disappointed when I saw the saw the half dime. The detail is really nice, but the hole is ugly. I'll take them all day long like that though. Still get a kick out of finding something someone lost 150 years ago.
