Hunted a new spot close to home again yesterday afternoon. The ground is still frozen around here in spots and it is still very muddy in the fields. All of these were about 75 yards apart in a bean field. I hunted a very wide pattern about 200 yards long then I would skip over about 10 yards and hunt 200 yards back. I did that 3 1/2 times before it got dark. The 1900 dime came out first followed by the 1891 O dime. Then the Indians. I also got an old fair copper ring. When it dries up I'll go back and hunt the in between spots! HAS to be more silver in there! Too bad the fertilizer was so unkind to these.
