Locator Larry and I stopped by one of the old fields we had hunted with the Explorers back in 2006 & 2007 a couple of weeks ago. I wanted to hunt there with the E-Trac to see if it could find something the Explorers missed.

I started out by hunting up next to the fence and see what I could find. Right off the bat I got a screaming dime signal about 6 inches down that turned out to be the 1888 S! My first one :)

The I followed that up with the 87 P dime, the 62 Fatty Indian that is in great shape and finally the 1891 Nickel, which is the newest coin we have found at this place.

I think we need to go back there soon. It's a pasture today.

Wow Keith those are great finds!!! That 87 is a good looking coin. I have only found 1 fattie ever and that was beginners luck alot of years ago. time to go bak to that site again.
