I'm in Guadalajara, Mexico today on business and heard a good one.

It seems back during the Pancho Villa revolution days (1910ish) that either the government or Villias group took gold to bury in the mountains around here and had a mule train of 200 miles to carry it all.

Supposedly it's still buried out there somewhere!

Anyone care to research this one?

There's no way i'd go treasure hunting in Mexico. The real treasure in Mexico these days are illegal drugs and everything that goes with it.

Besides, that gold if in fact it even existed has probably been found and confiscated by the Mexican gov. and spent a long time ago. Back in the day, i'd think that it would of not been hard for the Mex gov. to track down the trail of a train that large not to mention interrogating any witnesses.
