Back to the corn field 2 Years, 6 Months ago Karma: 2
I went back to the corn field this morning for 2 hours and hunted in all metal, found a couple buttons first and then got a really iffy signal, like one pass out of ten would have good numbers so I dug it and at 12" got a 1831 large cent. I dug a couple more buttons and then got another large cent my oldest to date 1812, this field hunting is great!

An 1812 Large Cent is a GREAT find! The 1831 LC and the buttons are super cool as well. What a great place to hunt you have there. Keep those great finds coming!

Great hunt and finds .. cornfields are a lot of time and effort but when you get finds like yours it's worth it .. hammer that field for more large cents
