Another short hunt, and more silver. 1 Month, 1 Week ago Karma: 3
Made it out tonight (7/29/10)for about an hour. Maybe a bit longer. Had to go check on a house I might be maintaining. and i pulled out my gear and gave the property a short hunt. Maybe 20 minutes. I dug a 43 Merc Dime stuck together with a wheat cent. Caught it on video also.
Its at www.youtube.com/user/idighistoryvideo

Then on my way home, I stopped downtown to hunt some easements. Found some wheat cents, and some clad. Randoms, and a really cool Silver Ring. The ring had only on odd marking I never saw before. But I knew it was silver cuz its pretty heavy. So, i looked it up. Turns out I was right. Its a sterling silver handcrafted ring. So, its kind of a neat find.
Annnyway. Here is a pic.

Nice job Ryan. Looks like you are starting to find some of that silver in OR
Don't get it all, save some for me the next time I get out there.

Minelab E-trac, Stock coil, sunray inline probe.

YTD silver coins 91
YTD Indians cents 65
YTD wheat pennies 399

I could go down town and buy a Mercury dime for a dollar and it would not mean much to me, but when I find one metal detecting I am thrilled
