Have been concerned about the lack of silver finds while hunting in 2 tone ferrous. That ended today! All the coins were in the 8 inch range, the ring was a little deeper and ID'd like a nickel. Started out conductive coin program but a few deep nails convinced me to switch back to ferrous. The last time I hunted this site was 1975 right after they quit using it as a grade school, it was turned into a home and has been a residence since then. I'm sure it has been hunted a lot over the years as all the coins had the low grunt of iron nearby. One of the quarters had a small bolt laying on top of it. 2 tone ferrous sure has been making the old spots new again.

Old places just seem to get better with each new program on the old detector! That's a great way to break the silver drought.
