I could go down town and buy a Mercury dime for a dollar (Now it's 4 dollars)and it would not mean much to me, but when I find one metal detecting I am thrilled

I am not sure, they seem to heavy for aluminum but they corroded like them. Where I knicked the one with the knife it's white. My best guess whould be white metal. ?????

I ran a search in Richard's Token Database and he has this token listed but needs an image of it.

They now have a photo for the token in there data base. Another piece of history saved by metal detecting.

I remember stopping at that bar after work on Friday with a couple of the older guys after work to play cards. We called it the get smart club, but we never got any smarter. I was a young buck who thought is was all grown up being in a bar after work. Man I wish I was as smart now as I though I was smart then.
