Awesome coins Ken! CONGRATS on the digs.

It's amazing how there are still shallow coins in the fields that have been pounded for years. I run in to the same thing.

I think what happens is that when the farmer plants crops or chisel plows that it moves to on edge coins flat and or moves the coins away from iron that hides them from us.

Also as you know it's TOUGH to cover every square inch of a 40 acre field.

Keep the great finds coming!

Those are some sweet Barber dimes. Feild copper makes me sad, i still like finding them but still sad. Great hunt!!!

Those are nice finds. We got some rain (finally) and more is forecase. I am ready to get going again and look to get into hunting farm fields in our area.
